Scope
This policy applies to all staff, patients, and visitors of DermDental, including:
- Staff: All employees, contractors, and volunteers.
- Patients: All individuals receiving care or treatment from DermDental
- Visitors: All individuals visiting DermDental premises.
Responsibilities
- DermDental will:
- Identify and assess health and safety risks.
- Implement measures to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and information to staff.
- Monitor and review health and safety performance.
- Staff will:
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
- Report incidents and near misses.
- Participate in health and safety training.
- Patients and visitors will:
- Follow health and safety guidance and instructions.
- Report concerns or incidents.
Key Health and Safety Arrangements
- Risk assessments: Regular assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Incident reporting: Procedures for reporting incidents and near misses.
- Training: Regular training for staff on health and safety policies and procedures.
- Fire safety: Procedures for fire safety and evacuation.
- Infection control: Procedures for preventing and controlling infections.
